Rik Offenberger's G-Man Comics is celebrating its 100th comic book with a new fund faising effort on Kickstarter. They're offering nine new issues, including a celebratory 48-page 100th comic book.

Included among the new books is Sgt Flag #8, featuring a crossover adventure guest-starring FLARE! There are three different Sgt Flag variant covers. And you can also get a copy of the same story in the super-sized 52-page Flare Adventures #33.

HERE COMES SENSATIONAL G-GIRL #9
YOU CAN STILL GET YOURSELF SOME REWARDS!

America's superhero sweetheart teams up with America's bronze goddess of freedom and our shining goddess of light in a super-sized 52-page Sensational G-Girl #9, featuring two complete adventures!

Our heroines are ostensibly on a USO tour to entertain the troops. But the real reason the Sensational G-Girl, Flare, and the Liberty Girl are visiting Korea is to look for information that might lead to the rescue of the G-Girl's kidnapped mother, the Nemesis Girl.

They're following up on a lead they got in the 7th issue of Liberty Girl.

In this issue lead adventure, we get to see the G-Girl put on her part of the USO show, and find herself an escort for a party at the US embassy in Seoul. There, she has an unexpected encounter with her arch-nemesis, the so-called BLACK GIANT, and sets about pumping him for the information she needs. This story is written by Dennis Mallonee, with artwork by Beniamin Delvecchio, Henry Martinez, and Rob Jones.

Then, in this issue's second adventure, it's time to meet the tempestuous TARGET GIRL. and find out just how evil the evil DEMONMASTER truly was. It's a previously untold tale from the days of "The Curse of the Hellfire Crown," narrated for the G-Girl by the ever-naughty BLACK ENCHANTRESS. This story is by writer Dennis Mallonee, with artwork by Henry Martinez.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO GET YOURSELF
A COPY OF FLARE ADVENTURES #32!

Flare Adventures is the comic book in which we take a step back into the history of comics' shining goddess of light, and reveal both classic and previously untold tales from out of Flare's past. In this brand-new 32nd issue of Flare Adventures, we find out what happened between the second and third issues of the Tigress comic book, when Flare and Lady Arcane were in Los Angeles pursuing Flare's modeling career.

It seems that ICICLE is in town! Her brother Icestar wants her to go to college, so she's checking out Caltech as a possibility. And when she pops in for a surprise visit, while Lady Arcane is dealing with the Tigress, Flare decides to take Icicle to Sidneyland, and regales her with the tale of how the amusement park was once threatened by the awesome power of MICKZILLA!

This 28-page story, by writer Dennis Mallonee and artist Dell Barras, has been in the queue for a very long time. The Mark Propst cover you can see just below was drawn ages ago. Now, at last, the tale is complete, with color work by Giuseppe Pica and letters by Dick O'Malley.

Also in this issue, in a story that ties in directly with our ongoing "Challenge of the Gods" storyline it's the origin of Flare's arch-frenemy, Nikki Caldwell, aka LADY DARKON, Dennis Mallonee, Gordon Purcell, and Terry Pallot.

Too often in recent years, other comic book companies have not been presenting superheroes as heroes. Too often, their characters have been treated merely as interesting people with peculiar abilities. While there may be some merit in taking that approach, it's not what Heroic Publishing is all about.

For all their flaws, the characters we focus on at Heroic Publishing are (usually) trying their best to live up to the heroic ideal. They may fail, they may suffer setbacks, there may be personal issues that deflect them from the goal. But they try. They strive. And when they succeed, there are wonders to behold.

Our goal at Heroic Publishing is to present entertaining adventures featuring characters who truly are superheroes.
