We've figured it out! The new Fantastic Girl comic book is going to be part of our re-entry into comic book retail stores later this year, joining Flare Deluxe, Liberty Girl Deluxe, and Sensational G-Girl Deluxe on our schedule for release through Philbo Distribution.

Because we need to work so many months ahead, Fantastic Girl Deluxe #1 won't be in comic book stores until September, but we already know what's going into it. And if you want a copy, you can reserve one for yourself right now.

Just be aware that although the stories in FGD #1 will be new to the comic book retail market, they've all been previously printed in various issues of Heroic Spotlight. If you're a long-time fan of the Heroic Publishing titles, the only thing completely new here is Francesco Gerbino's gorgeous cover, visible just to the left.

In addition to tales of the Fantastic Girl, Fantastic Girl Deluxe will re-present in color the classic "Coming of Aphrodite" stories done so many years ago by Dennis Mallonee and the late, great E. R. Cruz. It's the mythological connection that suggested these stories as companion pieces for the Fantastic Girl. And if we can find the right artist, perhaps that story can finally be continued to its conclusion.
