FLARE IS MAKING
A COMEBACK!

Well, that's not exactly right. The truth is that our shining goddess of the light didn't really go anywhere. As her loyal fans are well aware, we've been publishing new stories and new issues of her own comics magazine all along. But our focus these past several years has been on digital distribution. And on crowd funding to raise money for new projects. Distribution into the comic book retail market just hasn't been a priority.

That now changes. The fine folks at Philbo Distribution have persuaded us to start producing a few super-sized, 52-page comic books geared specifically toward distribution into comic book retail outlets.

And for that, we're putting our best foot forward. It isn't just Flare who's going into comic book stores. The bimonthly Flare Deluxe will be joined by three quarterly 52-page comic book titles, including Liberty Girl Deluxe, Sensational G-Girl Deluxe, and Fantastic Girl Deluxe, plus the bimonthly Alter Ego Deluxe.

It's the versatility of the 52-page format that will be the key to making this work. That format allows us to present readers with a wide variety of story material. In this second issue of Flare Deluxe, our titular heroine's featured adventure will be complemented by tales featuring her electric little sister Sparkplug, and the ever-naughty Black Enchantress.

To be clear, the stories included in Flare Deluxe #2 have appeared before. The original printings were in Flare #21, Black Enchantress #1, and Flare #26. What we're trying to do with Flare Deluxe is give brand-new fans an opportunity to discover our glittering heroine, and read stories they've never had the opportunity to read before.

We'd very much appreciate it if you'd do us the favor of asking your local retailer to carry these books. But if your retailer isn't doing that, and you'd like to get yourself a copy of the super-sized, 52-page Flare Deluxe #2, you can do that right now.
