The first super-sized, 52-page issue of Liberty Girl Deluxe will appear in comic book stores alongside the first issue of Flare Deluxe in June, just ahead of the 4th of July, through the courtesy of Philbo Distribution.

As the Liberty Girl's fans are aware, our heroine has a long and storied history that dates back all the way into the mid-1930s. And we will continue to explore that history in the pages of each issue of Liberty Girl Deluxe, where stories that take place in contemporary times will be complemented by stories that take place in her past.

Those stories will be coming to you from a stellar array of talent. While the extraordinary Mark Sparacio provides us with the artwork for our first few contemporary tales, such talents as Billy Tucci, Roy Thomas, and Francesco Gerbino in this first issue, Mark Beachum Dick Giordano, Tim Burgard, Mike W. Barr, Henry Vogel, Mark Propst, Andrew Pepoy, Rob Jones, and Daerick Gross Sr (who, by the way, designed the Liberty Girl's costume) in issues yet to come will be contributing to the Liberty Girl's saga.

We don't want to mislead. As in Flare Deluxe, the stories that will appear in Liberty Girl Deluxe have appeared before. But the issues in which they originally appeared were never widely distributed into the comic book retail market. Indeed, in many cases, those issues have never been in comic book stores at all. Thus, for most comic book fans who buy their comics in stores, Liberty Girl Deluxe #1 will serve as their introduction to America's Bronze Goddess of Freedom.
